S.V.University established a Digital Libraray spending Rs.23 lakhs to provide access to about 4,200 full text e-journals published across the globe covering 42 broad subject areas starting from Agriculture to Zoology under UGC-Infonet Programme. the Digital Library was opened by Vice chancellor, Prof.S.Jayarama Reddy on 23rd September, 2006. It is one of the goals announced by the Vice Chancellor in the VISION DOCUMENT. Other services offered by SVU Digital Library of Ph.D and M.Phil thesis and Harvest of Digital documents (HDD) on Chemistry.
